What’s been happening:

Went on to pursue my Masters Degree in American Studies at the Penn State Campus in Middletown, PA (1976-1977). I am a member of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Consensus Development Committee on Cardiovascular Disease; a member of the American Heart Association Scientific Council on Epidemiology and Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease; a Charter Member of the American Heart Association Council on Nutrition, Metabolism, and Physical Activity; an Allied Health Care Practitioner member of the American Preventive Medical Association (APMA), a scientific member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), and a Professional Member of the American Heart Association Interdisciplinary Working Group on Functional Genomics and Translational Biology. As a Lt. Col. in the USMC Reserve, I was Assistant Director of Reserve Aviation Operations (IMA), Marine Forces Atlantic Command, Norfolk, VA. June 1997-November 7, 2004 (I Retired November 7, 2004, following 29 years of service).
